Abstract:
The purpose of this study was threefold. First, it aimed at examining public opinion towards work administrative processes of Wang Nam Yen Municipality. Also, this study attempted to investigate work efficiency of personnel working for Wang Nam Yen Municipality. Lastly, it intended to study the relationship between work administrative processes and work efficiency among personnel working for Wang Nam Yen Municipality. The population participating in this study was 152 working personnel at Wang Nam Yen Municipality. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire. The statistical tests used to analyze the collected data included frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Coefficient. The results of the study revealed that the level of work administrative processes was found at a highest level. When considering each aspect, the administration in relation to personnel was rated at the highest level by the subjects, followed by the aspects relating to the administration of the municipality, organizational skills, internal systems, shared value, managerial patterns, and organizational structure, respectively. Regarding the level of work efficiency among personnel working for Wang Nam Yen Municipality, it was found at a low level. Specifically, the aspects that were rated by the subjects at a low level included the aspects relating to the administration of the Municipality, skills of working staff, internal systems, shared value, and the administration of organizational structure, respectively. Finally, it was shown that the relationship between work administrative processes and work efficiency was found at a low level (r= .365) at a statistically significant level of 0.01.
