Abstract:
This research is an interrelationship study focusing on studying the factors affecting the effectiveness of the public primary school in Northeastern with Multilevel Regression Analysis. The purposes of this study were to study the effectiveness of school and to investigate the factors affecting the effectiveness of public primary school in Northeastern. The conceptual framework and hypothesis of this study were 3 levels of cause variable which supposed to influence factors affecting the effectiveness of public primary school in Northeastern divided ; 1) The student factors ;2) The classroom factors, and 3) The school factors
The sample, classified by multi-stage random sampling, consisted of 940 students, 76 teachers and 76 administrators, totally 1,092 people, from 76 schools which are under the Primary Educational Service Area, Northeastern. The research instrument used were questionnaires for 1) Students, 2) Teachers and 3) School administrators. Which is divided into 2 style, : a checklist and a Rating scale is IOC since 0.6-1.00. The discrimination of the questionnaires for students were 0.20 to 0.818. Questionnaire for teachers were 0.305 to 0.861 and questionnaire foe school were 0.301 to 0.903. And reliability 0.879 and questionnaire for school administrators were 0.910. It developed before it collected
The statistical methods used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Multi-Level Analysis through programs HLM Version 6.03 (Student Version 3)
The research findings were as follows:
1. The effectiveness of the government primary school in the Northeast, was ranked at the high level (x¯ =3.533). Order in the development of modifications into the school environment. (x¯ =3.941). Student ethics
(x¯ =3.610). achievement side of students. (x¯ =3.371) work satisfaction of teacher (x¯ =3.211)
2. For the student factors, the study found that : student factors that influence the effectiveness of the government primary school in the Northeast, was 1) The learning behaviors of the students. 2) Attitudes towards learning 3) basic knowledge of students. That could explained the variance of effectiveness of the students level of 49.40 percent (R²=.494) and the variance of effectiveness. In the classroom and school factors by 76.90 (R²=.769)
3. For classroom factors the study found that : classroom factors that influence the effectiveness of the government primary school in the Northeast, was teaching experience and teaching quality, the influenced of coefficient .713 and .569 respectively. That could explained the variance effectiveness of the classroom factors by 6.50 percent (R²=.065)
4. For school factors the study found that, : school factors that influence
the effectiveness of the government primary school in the Northeast, was 1) administrators degree 2)administrative experience and 3) academic leadership the influenced of coefficient .531 .428 and .308 Respectively. The school factors could explained the variability of its effectiveness of the primary in the classroom factors .48.00 percent (R²=.480)
