Abstract: งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิธีการเตรียมน้ำมันจากงาขี้ม้อน 3 วิธี ได้แก่ การสกัดเชิงกลด้วยเครื่องบีบน้ำมันแบบมือหมุน การสกัดด้วยซอกห์เลต และการสกัดด้วยเครื่องอัลตร้าโซนิค จากการศึกษา พบว่า การสกัดด้วยเครื่องบีบน้ำมันแบบหมุนมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดในการสกัดน้ำมัน นอกจากนี้ การอบเมล็ดงาขี้ม้อนที่อุณหภูมิ 50 องศาเซลเซียสก่อนเข้าเครื่องสกัด ได้ปริมาณน้ำมัน ที่สกัดได้สูงสุด ร้อยละ 39.50 การวิเคราะห์คุณสมบัติทางเคมีเบื้องต้น ของน้ำมันเมล็ดงาม้อน พบว่า มีค่า Iodine เท่ากับ 153.44 ± 7.92 กรัม/100 กรัมน้ำมัน ขณะที่ค่า Saponification และ Acid value เท่ากับ 208.41 ± 5.05 มก. KOH/ กรัม น้ำมัน และ 1.68 ± 0.28 มก/กรัม น้ำมันตามลำดับ การทดสอบประสิทธิภาพของน้ำมันงาขี้ม้อนในการลบเครื่องสำอาง พบว่า มีความสามารถในการลบผลิตภัณฑ์ได้ในระดับปานกลาง การพัฒนาตำรับผลิตภัณฑ์ลบเครื่องสำอางที่มีส่วนผสมน้ำมันงาขี้ม้อน พบว่า น้ำมันงาขี้ม้อนสามารถเป็นส่วนผสมในตำรับได้ถึงร้อยละ 40 โดยไม่เกิดการแยกชั้น และ มีความสามารถลบเลือนผลิตภัณฑ์ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพในผลิตภัณฑ์กลุ่ม Eyeshadow, Blush on และFoundation มีประสิทธิภาพปานกลางสำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์กลุ่ม Lipstick มีประสิทธิภาพค่อนข้างต่ำสำหรับ Eyeliner และMascara ซึ่งงานวิจัยนี้สามารถเป็นข้อมูลเบื้องต้นในการประยุกต์ใช้น้ำมันจากเมล็ดงาขี้ม้อนที่สามารถพัฒนาเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ลบเครื่องสำอางจากธรรมชาติได้ต่อไปในระดับอุตสาหกรรม

Abstract: The study was goaled to find suitable method for preparing perilla seed oil using 3 different methods including screw pressing machine, soxhlet apparatus and ultrasonicator. The result revealed that the highest oil yield of 39.50 was obtained when the perilla seed was prior incubated at 50C and then mechanically pressed. Analysis of oil showed that iodine, saponification and acid values were equal to 153.44 ± 7.92 g/100 g oil, 208.41 ± 5.05 mg KOH/ g oil and 1.68 ± 0.28 mg/g oil, respectively. In addition, the perilla seed oil had moderate property on removing make up products. Study of formulation of make remover product containing perilla seed oil showed that the perilla seed oil was loaded into the product up to 40% without phase separation. It also had ability to remove various color make up product types including lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow and blushom.It also had ability to remove best make up product kinds of eyeshadow,blush on and foundation.There is moderate efficiency for lipstick and low efficiency for eyeliner and mascara. Therfore, this research could be further used as an information for preparation of seed oil from perilla, and applied as ingredient in makeup removing products
