AN ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COGNITION IN DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS OF LEARNING ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT AND JOB STATISFACTION OF TEACHERS IN BASIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES UNDER ANGTHONG DISTRICT EDUCATION OFFICE
Abstract:
The research aimed to 1) analyse the relationship between cognition in different
dimensions of learning organization development and job satisfaction of the teachers in basic
educational institutes under Angthong District Education Office, and 2) to select the cognition in
different aspects of the development of learning organisations which once combined related most
to teachers' job satisfaction in basic educationa institutes. The samples which were drawn fiom
the quota sampling technique included 396 teachers. The research instruments consisted of a
questionnaire employing the Likert Scale. The degree of confidence allowed was a constant value
of .96. The data were analysed with correlation and regression analysis.
The result indicated that at a significant level of .05, the relationship between the
cognition of being well-rounded individuals, organizing ideas, sharing the vision, team-based
learning, as well as sharing systematic thinking, and the job satisfaction of the teachers in basic
educationa institutes were possible. The sharing of the 5 dimensions was able to regulate the
variability of job satisfaction of those teachers by 98 per cent. The selection of cognition in
various aspects of learning organization development signified that the cognition of organising
ideas and sharing the vision are variables that relate the most to job satisfaction of the teachers in
basic education institutes at statistical significance of .05, and at the level of 98 per cent.
