Abstract:
This study was aimed to explore the implementation of suitable types of thcISDN and xDSL systems in education. The study included the services, equipment, personels,and budget concerning the implementation in Technical colleges under Departmeut ofVocational Education in the central and eastern school groups. A questionnaire was used as aresearch tool. The 106 subjects of this study consisted of college management executives,information section heads and information section officers. The data was analyzed by usiugPercentage and Chi-square This study revealed that:Concerning xDSL system, the ADSL service was the most favorite serviceamong the subjects. The second favorite is PRI sei-vice of ISDN system. The Personal Computerand Local Area Network were selected to use as the most suitable Customer Premise Equipment.The second priority is the ISDN and analog telephone. With reference to the demonel, thcqualification required most is the attempt to learn about Computer and InformationTechnologies. In accordance with the budget, tariff on service charge would need to besupported It was found out that the itnplementation of the ISDN and xDSL systems underdifferent types of services was equally appropriate at a significant level of 0.05
