Abstract:
Purposes : The purposes of this study are to find the correlation of elementary school students achievement and also to compare their achievement in the schools of Bangkok Metropolis, Dusit District, which have the same and different standards. Procedures : 1. Evaluate the standard of the 14 elementary schools of Bangkok Metropolis in Dusit District by using the evaluation form of the Department of General Education, Ministry of Education. 2. Use the scores of Thai and Mathematics subjects from the second test of Prathom Suksa 4 and 7 students, Academic Year 2520 from 14 elementary schools as the students achievement. 3. The scores of Thai and Mathematics subjects used as student' achievement were Selected from 14 elementary school students. They are 552 students in Prathom Suksa 4 and 390 students in Prathom Suksa 7. 4.Rank Correlation and One-Way Analysis of Variance were used for data analysis. Conclusions : I In finding the correlation between the schools standard and the elementary school students achievement, it was found out that : 1.1 In Prathom Suksa 4 level, the students achievement In Mathematics subject correlated with the school standard in learning and teaching category and community relation and collaboration category. The students achievement in Thai and Mathematics subjects combination correlated with the school standard in community relation and collaboration category. 1.2 In Prathom Suksa 7 level, the students achievement in Mathematics subject correlated with the school standard in learning and teaching category, The students achievement in Thai and Mathematics subjects combination correlated with the school standard in learning and teaching category and general total category. II. In comparing the elementary school students achievement In the schools that have different standards, it was found out that : 2.1 In Prathom Suksa 4 level, the students achievement in Thai and Mathematics subjects in the school that has good standard was different from the school that has fair and ought to improve standard. 2.2 In Prathom Suksa 7 level, the students achievement In Thai subject in the school that has fair standard was different from the school that has ought to improve standard. The students achievement in Mathematics subject in the school that has good standard was different from the school that has fair and ought to improve standard.
