Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์กลวิธีการนำเสนอเนื้อหา เพื่อวิเคราะห์ศิลปะการใช้ภาษา และเพื่อประเมินคุณค่าทางการเทศน์มหาชาติของพระครูวินัยธรมานพ ปาละพันธ์ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ใช้เทคนิควิธีการวิจัยเอกสารและวิธีการเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนาม และนำเสนอโดยการใช้วิธีพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า พระครูวินัยธรมานพ ปาละพันธ์ เป็นพระนักเทศน์มหาชาติที่มีกลวิธีการเทศน์เผยแผ่พุทธธรรมที่ดี สอดคล้องกับธรรมเนียมนิยมของการเทศน์มหาชาติกล่าวคือ การเริ่มเรื่องหรือบทอุเทศเริ่มจาก การกล่าวบทนะโม 5 ชั้น ตามด้วยจุณณียบท และการอารัมภบทแล้วเกริ่นนำเชื่อมความเข้าสู่เรื่อง การดำเนินเรื่องหรือบทนิเทศดำเนินแบบบรรยายความสอดแทรกสาระความรู้เกี่ยวกับเรื่องมหาชาติ โดยการแหล่เป็นทำนองหลวงและทำนองราษฎร์ได้อย่างเหมาะสมสอดคล้องกับเนื้อเรื่องที่เทศน์ แล้วจบเรื่องหรือบทปฏินิเทศลงด้วยการชี้หลักธรรมเพื่อนำไปปฏิบัติ และกล่าวบทอวยชัยให้พรทั้งแบบธรรมเนียมนิยมและแหล่เป็นทำนอง จากนั้นจึงจบลงด้วยบทลงท้ายของการเทศน์ ด้านศิลปะการใช้ภาษาพบว่า มีการใช้ถ้อยคำเรียบง่ายและใช้ถ้อยคำภาพพจน์ที่เป็นสำนวนอุปมา เพื่อเปรียบเทียบนามธรรมให้เป็นรูปธรรมชัดเจนขึ้น และใช้สำนวนโวหารด้วยการพรรณนา บรรยาย อธิบาย สั่งสอน และยกตัวอย่างเปรียบเทียบ เพื่อให้เข้าใจง่าย กระชับ สื่อความหมายชัดเจน ด้วยแหล่ทำนองหลวง และแหล่ทำนองราษฎร์ สลับเปลี่ยนอย่างมีลีลา จังหวะ และสร้างความประทับใจแก่ผู้ฟังเทศน์ ด้านคุณค่าของการเทศน์พบว่า ให้คุณค่าทั้งด้านการรักษาธรรมเนียมนิยมในการเทศน์ คุณค่าด้านวรรณศิลป์ทางภาษา และคุณค่าทางศีลธรรม ขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณี สังคม สติปัญญา สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาตนเอง ทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจแก่คนทุกเพศทุกวัยในสังคม ให้สามารถอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างสันติสุข The objectives of this qualitative research were: 1) to analyze content delivering techniques; 2) to analyze the art of language usage; and 3) to evaluate values of Mahajati Vessantara Jataka preaching of Phrakru Winaithornmanop Palaphan. Data had been collected through documentary study and field study. Findings were presented through a descriptive analysis technique. The study found that: Phrakru Winaithornmanop Palaphan is a preacher who has good strategies and techniques in the Buddhist propagation which is in accord with the popular tradition of Mahajati Vessantara Jataka preaching. Normally, the Mahajati Vessantara Jataka preaching will begin with the Uthet (introduction) Episode starti ng from the 5 levels of Namo chanting follows by the Chunniybot and the Prologue, respectively. After that, the preacher will lead listeners to a preaching story. According to the Nithet (supervision) Episode, the preacher uses an technique to present the essence of Mahajati Vessantara Jataka using the royal and populace styles. At the end Mahajati Vessantara Jataka preaching or the Pati-nithet (conclusion) Episode, the Buddhist doctrines are inserted for people to follow. The preacher will give a blessing based on the practical tradition. Finally, the Mahajati Vessantara Jataka preaching will be ended with the post- conclusion episode. According to the art of language use, the study found that easy words are applied in a preaching. In addition, idiomatic expressions are also applied to make a comparison between abstract concepts and concrete concepts. According to the preaching, figurative expressions are presented in forms of description, explanation, narration, lecture, and comparison for a clearly understanding of people. Alternation between royal and populace preaching styles is made stylistically and rhythmically which generates the impression to listeners. According to the value of Mahajati Vessantara Jataka preaching, the study showed that the Mahajati Vessantara Jataka preaching contains a conservation of traditional preaching, the art of language usage, and the ethic, traditional, social, and intellectual values. Listeners would be able to apply the Buddhist doctrines from the Mahajati Vessantara Jataka preaching for physical and mental developments of people of every age and gender.
