Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to develop, find out the effectiveness and compare the students learning achievement before and after learning by using Computer-Assisted Instruction on Starting Motor for Auto Mechanics Vocational Certificate students of Bangpakong Industrial and Community Education College, Chachoengsao. The sample of this study consisted of 20 students from second year at Auto Mechanics Vocational Certificate seclceted by Simple Random Sampling method.
The instruments used for the study were ; 1) Computer-Assisted Instruction on Starting Motor, 2) quality evaluation form , 3) the multiple choice achievement test consisted of 30 items, having the degree of difficulty between 0.20-0.80, the degree of discrimination between 0.20-0.40 and the reliability coefficient of 0.66
The result of the study revealed that Computer-Assisted Instruction on Starting Motor had the efficiency E1:E2 = 80.50:81.00 which met the criteria at 80:80. The result also indicated that the achievement of the students after learning with Computer-Assisted Instruction on Starting Motor was significantly higher than prior to learning with Computer-Assisted on Starting Motor at 0.05.
