Abstract:
The purposes of the research entitled The Academic Administration of School Administrators under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, were (1) to study the Level of the academic administration of school administrators under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, (2) to compare the academic administration of school Administrators Under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, and (3) to complie Suggestions on the Academic administration of school administrators under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The populations used in this research were 510 teachers in schools under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, in the academic year of 2011. To determine the sample size, The formula of Taro Yamane of 224 people was used. The data were analyzed by employing Statistical Package. Frequency, percentage, mean, Standard deviation and T-test were introduced to analyze the data. The results of the Research showed that (1) the overall level of the academic administration of school Administrators under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, was at a medium level When all aspects were compared, it was found that the teaching management got the highest level, followed by administrative curriculum, and promoting academic activities. The measurement and evaluation got the lowest average. 2.The attitudes of teachers and education personnel in schools under Yala Primary Educations Service Area Office, classified by gender, age, experiences, and size of school toward the academic administration of the school administrators were not different. 3.For the compilation of suggestions on academic management of the executives of educational institutions, under Yala Educational Service Area Office 3, there were: executive should prepare local learning matters of each educational institution, in order to prepare learning course for basic course or additional course; they should supervise and take care of academic matters regularly; they should plan the learning course that contains learning matter and activity that are in line with students interest and aptitude; they should work with other involved parties, in analyzing the core curriculum and communitys needs; they should promote activity that allows student to learn from real world experience; they should promote teacher to assess and evaluate learning result, transfer students experience and result, and approve students result; they should improve teach and student and educate them on the subject of learning revolution which emphasizes on research methodology; they should promote both educational institutions external and internal learning sources; they should evaluate the result of orientation system and procedures management; they should supervise, follow up on, control and support students guidance and support; they should specify educational
institutions standard which is in line with nationals standard, educational areas standard and local communitys need; they should promote the development of community in a way that in line with the communitys problem and need, as well as find the way that allows exchange between community; they should fortify relationship between the educational institution and its community, as well as other organization; they should survey the needs for academic support from the people, family, organization, enterprise and other authority figure; they should prepare a guidebook on arranging learner development activity; they should consider the content and
language of textbook and make sure that textbooks content is academically correct and up to date; lastly, they should promote teacher to produce and develop learning media and innovation for teaching.
