The Study of Factors on Cultural and Natural Landscape of Southern Border Provinces at Suit to Agricultural Potential for Encouraging Requirement to Set Up Agricultural Faculty of Yala Rajabhat University
Abstract:
Establishing organization accord with community development must be studied several contexts, especially cultural and natural landscape. Hence, aims of research were analyzing opinion about the cultural and natural landscape of southern border provinces at suit to agriculture and correlated test between cultural and natural landscape and desire levels to Yala Rajabhat established agricultural faculty. The research method was both quantity and quality. The quantitative research gathered data with 550 representative samples; data were analyzed for frequency, percentage and correlated test by chi-square test. The qualitative research studied by deep interviewed 5 administrators from 3 universities that work in educational segment. The discovery was main respondents over 90.00 percentages agree with Yala pattani and Narathiwas provinces had a cultural and natural landscape suitable for agriculture; furthermore, correlated test showed that 9 essences from 11 essences significant at 0.01 and 0.05 with desire levels to Yala Rajabhat established agricultural faculty. Otherwise, qualitative data of 3 interviewers commented that area of Deep South Thailand had endemic plants; animal production insufficient to consumption, especially cows/bulls these still imports; and Deep South Thailand suit with opening commercial markets with neighboring countries like Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. Consequently, establishing organization or expansion units for agricultural development like establishing agricultural faculty of Yala Rajabhat University or other universities in lower south will good opportunity to new agriculturists for community development forward.
