The sample in this study consisted of 65 young children were boys and girls, of 5 - 6 years studying at k - 2 level in 1st semester of academic year 2013, at Anuban Phibun Mangsahan Vipakvittayakorn School under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The instrument used in this research was composed of the lesson plans of received the experience through Venn diagram activity, a multiple choice test of connection thinking ability with a reliability of 0.87 and a practical test of connection thinking ability with a reliability of 0.88. The qualitative method was used by a behaviour observation record in the connection thinking ability of young children individually. The statistics used to analyze the data were mean, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing were analyzed by t-test for dependent samples and t-test for independent samples. The results of the study were as follows : 1) The connection thinking abilitiy of young children received the experienced through Venn diagram activity was higher than before the experiment at the 0.05 level of statistical significance. 2) The level of connection thinking ability of young children received the experienced through by Venn diagram activity was higher than those of young children received the experience through ordinary activity at the 0.05 level of statistical significance.
