Abstract:
The objective of this research was to examine the academic management in Wat King Kaew school under Samutprakan Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. Data were collected by questionnaires concerning academic management in 10 aspects: curriculum development, learning process development, measurement-evaluation and study result transfer, research for development, educational media, innovation, and technology development, learning resources development, educational supervision, educational guidance, internal quality assurance, and the cooperative in education development with other schools. The population in this study included 45 teachers in Wat King Kaew school. The instrument was 5-level rating scale questionnaire and checklist. Data were statistically analyzed in percentage, mean score, and Standard Deviation.
The finding revealed that academic management in the school both in an overall and each aspect were at high level. The highest aspect was the learning process development, followed by the internal quality assurance. The educational supervision had the lowest mean.
