Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to develop an appropriate quality test of tolerance behavior of Prathom Suksa six students. The subjects used in this research were 1,083 multi-stage sampling Prathom Suksa six students in the academic year 1990 in the primary schools under the jurisdiction of the Provincial Primary Education office, Chonburi. The two researcher-constructed tests, namely, the Situation of Tolerance Test and the Tolerance Behavior Test were used. The tests were constructed in the National Primary Curricurum 2521 B.E. the data obtained were analyzed by the SPSSX program to determined reliability and validity of the tests. The major findings were as follow. 1) The 30-item Situation of Tolerance Test. It took the subjects 30 minutes to complete the test : the power of discrimination according to the 27% technique was significant at the .01 level ; the internal reliability coefficient was .8963 ; the concurrent validity were analyzed by spearman rank order correlation coefficient between the rank of the student ranked by the Situation of Tolerance Test and by their teachers, ranged from .7460 to .9103 and the Pearson correlation coefficient between two tests was .8421 ; the discriminant validity was significant at the .01 level ; the construct validity was found as well. 2) The 30-item Tolerance Behavior test. It took the subjects 30 minutes to complete the test ; the internal reliability coefficient was .9162 ; the discrimination validity was significant at the .01 level. 3) The correlation coefficient between two tests was .8421 which was significantly related at the .01 level
