Management Paradigm affecting on Working Efficiency of level 2-7 staff in the Office of Provincial Electricity Authority region 3 (north), Lopburi province
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study how management paradigm affects on working efficiency and to guide the way to enhance working efficiency of level 2-7 staff in the office of Provincial Electricity Authority Region 3 (North), Lopburi Province. By considering 3 related factors: personal characteristic, improving work efficiency by conservative approach, and behavioral science. Research instrument was a questionnaire. 164 officers were the samples for this study.
The result reveals that the samples had opinion on working efficiency of staff in overall at a high level ( = 4.01). Considering each aspect, it was found that all factors had a high average value. The personal factor had the highest average value ( = 4.15) and the lowest average value was work efficiency ( = 3.91). However, an opinion about improving work efficiency by conservative approach revealed that the samples had high level score ( = 3.73). Therefore, the highest average value was the organization structure ( = 3.88), and the lowest average value was the income variable ( = 3.57). In part of improving work efficiency by behavioral science, found that the samples had high level score ( = 3.81). Work environment had the highest average value ( = 3.82) and work satisfaction had the lowest average value ( = 3.79).
The result of hypothesis testing at .05 level of significance found that the samples who had different gender, age, marital status, education level, monthly income, position level, and period of work had no differently opinion with work efficiency either personal factor or work efficiency and overall. Except in the different position level would affect to their opinion about work efficiency, especially in work performance was different at .05 level of significance. Moreover, it was found that improving work efficiency by conservative approach and behavioral science had positive relation with work efficiency of staff in moderate level to high level at .001 level of significance.
