Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study and compare the factors affecting to work efficiency of soldiers under Bureau of Public Works, Office of Defence Logistics, the Permanent Secretary for Defence Office. Samples were 230 soldiers in Bureau of Public Works, Office of Defence Logistics, the Permanent Secretary for Defence Office. The data were collected by using a 5-rating scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, One-way analysis of variance, and Scheffes test.
The findings were as follows:
The level of factors affected the work efficiency of the soldiers in Bureau of Public Works, Office of Defence Logistics, the Permanent Secretary for Defence Office as a whole and each aspect were at a high level, as follows: adequate compensation, environment of work, person amity, and growth and security in occupation were at high level, respectively.
The soldiers in the Bureau of Public Works, Office of Defence Logistics, the Permanent Secretary for Defence Office who had differently gender, education level, and experience had no significantly difference on their opinions on level of factors that affected the work efficiency, but the soldiers who had differently age, and position had statistically significant difference at .05 level in overall of adequate compensation and growth and security in occupation.
For the results of this research would lead to a recommendation to the Bureau of Public Works, Office of Defence Logistics, the Permanent Secretary for Defence Office.
