Abstract:
Purposes : The purposes of this research are as follows : 1. To study elementary school teachers expectation and opinions concerning the actual situation of learning and teaching in elementary schools in Nakhon Nayok Province on preparation of learning teaching, instructional activities, innovation and instructional media, and evaluation and measurement. 2. To compare elementary school teachers expectation and opinions concerning the actual situation of learning and teaching in elementary schools in Nakhon Nayok Province on preparation of learning teaching, instructional activities, innovation and instructional media, and evaluation and measurement. Research Procedure : The data and information were gathered and developed into questionnaires concerning elementary school teachers expectation and opinions of learning and teaching in elementary schools. The questionnaires were sent to seven hundred and thirty-five samples, who were elementary school teachers in Nakhon Nayok Province. The questionnaires were returned and analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test. Results : 1. The level of elementary school teachers expectation of learning and teaching in elementary schools is high, namely, preparation of learning teaching, instructional activities, innovation and instructional media, and evaluation and measurement. 2. The level of elementary school teachers opinions concerning the actual situation of learning and teaching in elementary schools is moderate, except in preparation of learning teaching, instructional activities, and innovation and instructional media, some is low as follows : a. In preparation of learning teaching category is preparation of materials and studying of academic sources for teaching preparation. b. In instructional activities category is invitation of local experienced person for teaching the students or taking students out. c. In innovation and instructional media category is finding, buying and using documents and materials concerning of innovation and teaching media, using of teaching assisted instruction and arranging field study. 3. Significant differences at the level of .01 were found between elementary school teachers expectation and opinions concerning the actual situation of learning and teaching in elementary schools in Nakhon Nayok Province, which elementary school teachers opinions concerning the actual situation of learning and teaching is lower than their expectation.
