Abstract:
The research aimed to study the participation in educational management of the basic educational school boards in Sakom School Network, regarding to the variables of gender, age, education level, experience, and position. The population comprised 63 school boards in the Sakom School Network. The tool used in this research was a 5-scale rating questionnaire. The data were analyzed by frequency percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, and Chi-square.
The study reveals that:
1. A majority of the school boards are male, aged between 46-55 years, graduated Bachelor degree, having around 1-4 years of experience of being committees, and stating as the position of community organization. The overall of the school boards play the role in educational management of the schools in the Sakom School Network at a high level in every aspect, as follows: 1) practicing, 2) following up and evaluating, and 3) policy and administrating, respectively.
2. Gender, education level, experience of being committee, and position of community organization had relation with their participation in education management in schools of the Sakom School Network, but age had no relation with their participation.
