Abstract:
This research aimed to study the benefit recognition of the disabled in Lumluka district, Pathumthani province, and the relationship between socio demographic factors and the benefit of the disabled in Lumluka district, Pathumthani province. The data were collected from 400 disabled samples by using a questionnaire, in Lumluka district, Pathumthani province. The statistics used to analyze data composed of percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, F test, LSD and Chi-Square.
The results revealed that most of the samples are male, aged 31-40 years old, had civil status as married, uneducated, their income less than 5,000 baht per month, career in general of working, the beneficial in law acknowledgement and the rights of the disabled. Overall, the benefit recognition of the disabled was at a moderately level ( = 2.81). In terms of each item found every item was a moderate level, as follows: the beneficial in social welfair ( = 3.05), the law and disabled policy ( = 2.92), the benefit recognition of the education ( = 2.67), the benefit recognition of the medical ( = 2.62), and the benefit recognition of the career ( = 2.48), respectively.
The result of hypotheses testing found that gender and disable type had no influence on their benefit recognition, but different age, marital status, education level, monthly income, and career had differently in their perception at .01 level of significance.
