Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to study studio art learning styles in computer graphic program of vocational students, 2) to analyze studio art learning styles and individual background such as gender, class rank, achievement, and college under research hypothesis different background influenced different impacts of studio art learning styles with statistical significance level of .05 The sample of the research were 226 vocational students who studied in computer graphic program. The data was collected from questionnaire to measure the satisfaction, semi-structured questionnaires, and art analysis form about 4 types of studio art learning styles through the theory of John A. Michael including 1) Mechanical Orientation 2) Primitive Orientation 3) Intellectual Orientation 4) Intuitive emotional Orientation. The data was analyzed to find percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test. The results of this study found that 1) from 4 types of studio art learning styles, most students had Mechanical Orientation. It was followed by Intellectual Orientation, and intuitive and Intuitive emotional Orientation, respectively. The least was Primitive Orientation. 2) Regarding to the influences of factors and the results of hypothesis test, it was found that the sample with different gender, academic achievement, and college had different studio art learning styles with statistical significance level of .05, and the sample with different class rank had indifferent studio art learning styles with statistical significance level of .05
