Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to 1) examine the leadership of school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Education Service Area Office, 2) compare the leadership of school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Education Service Area Office in accordance of schools sizes, working experience and the results of the third round of external evaluation, and 3) study the relationship of leadership of school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Education Service Area Office.
The subjects of the study consisted of 252 administrators and teachers under Pathum Thani primary education service area office who were determined from the sample using the software package G* power 3.1.9.2 by using stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. The research instrument was a 36-item of 5-point rating scale questionnaire, which the reliability was between 0.875 to 0.982. The data were analyzed by using the software package to find out percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance (One way ANOVA), and Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient.
The results were as follow: 1) the leadership of school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Education Service Area office was at a high level for the whole and individual aspects, 2) the school administrators had different leadership according to the school sizes. In individual aspects, it was found that the relationship of the school administers of medium and large school sizes, large and extra-large school sizes had the statistical significance level of 0.05, while there was no statistical significant difference at the level of 0.05 on working experience and the result of the third round of external evaluation and 3) every leadership style of the school administrators had high positive relationship at the statistical significance level of 0.01.
