Abstract:
This research aims to investigate the good governance, the sustainability and the correlation between good corporate governance and sustainability report of listed companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The samples were 558 companies, the data collected from the annual report documents within 3 years (201]-201W) from the company website. The data were analysed by statistics to find the frequency, the percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The correlation was analysed to find the relation between good corporate governance and sustainability report by using multiple regression analysis. The study found that 1. The good corporate governance and the sustainability report of listed companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand towards the level of business sustainability report, it is found that commerce and services groups had the most number of companies. The average of company assets were 26,966.98 million baht, the shareholders' equity of the administrators was overall 0.168, the listed companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand used the auditors from the big companies at 58.2 percent, the average of independent directors was overall 0.38, the overall average of board size was 9.91, the merger power of chairman administration was 50.9 percent, the overall meeting attendance average of the committee was 0.87; the organization sustainability data according to GRI framework showed the environmental feature was 198 and the overall for the social feature was 170.14. 2. The correlation between the good governance and the sustainability report of the listed companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand found that the variable influencing the sustainability report on the economic, environmental and social features had the variables that affected the different results. It was the economic dimension, the variable of director meeting (Meet), the variable which affected the sustainability was the non-executive director variable (InBoard) and the variable of board size (BSize). The environmental dimension had the variable of director meeting (Meet), the variable of board size (BSize); and for the social dimension, the variable of director meeting (Meet), the variable of board size (BSize). 3. The correlation between the good corporate governance and sustainability report of the listed companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand, considered from the groups which were related to the variables affecting the business sustainability for the economic dimension, environmental dimension and social dimension; it found that the different groups had the variables affecting the different sustainability report, such as the economic dimension. The business group which had the relevant variable with the economic sustainability the most was industry and automotive group. For the environmental dimension, the business group which had the relevant variable with the environmental sustainability the most was the property business group, commercial and services group and information and communication technology; for the social dimension, the business group which had the relevant variable with the social sustainability the most was the property business group, commercial and services group.
