Abstract:
The purpose of this independent is to study are the following 1) To study the vegetarian food consumption behavior of consumers in Muang District, Trang Province, 2) To study the relationship between personal behavioral factors of vegetarian food consumers in that area. and 3) To study the relationship between cultural with behavioral factors of vegetarian food consumers in that area, The samples of this research are 400 vegetarian consumers living in Muang District, Trang Province. The tool of data collection is a questionaire. The statistical tools for data analysis are frequency and percentage. The statistics used for hypothesis test are Chi-Square at Significance level of 0.05.
The result of the study shows that the samples are female more than male, age between 20 and 34 years , Most of them are single, Bhudism have finished the education in Bachelor Degree and work as Personal business, Business owner, Merchant and have average income bêtween 15,000 to 30,000 bath per month.
The most of the samples are Thai of Chinese origin Nationality and they consumer behavior consumption of vegetarian food during the vegetarian festival only. And it is believed that the consuming of vegetarian food will healthy wake them became Bio-Organic foods is to drive wasts out of the bodies.
Most of the Samples prefer foods and tofu and mushrooms in ingredient of vegetarian. Their main objective for consumers wanting to eat vegetarian foods is target for healthy and strong. The occasion for having vegetarian food is vegetarian foods festival. The number of days of consumption are 8-9 days while having vegetarian food festival off-season having the frequency of consumption 1 time per week. The duration of consuming was in afternoon (from 12.01 to 17.00) The expense for consuming it is averagely per 1,000 to 2,000 baht per month. The main reason of consuming Vegetarian food is there is value diverse Vegetarian food a having safe and quality than normal food than making consumer to make decision to consumption vegetarian food of healthy and all the sample decided by themselves in consumption vegetarian food. Most people knew data vegetarian food on internet. The most frequently visited place for having vegetarian food is vegetarian food restaurant. The major marketing is factors were product, price, place and promotion are all the indicates affecting factors that consumption of vegetarian food.
The analysis indicates that 1) there is a relationship between the personal factor and the consumption of vegetarian food in Muang District, Trang Province at the 0.05 significance level. 2) there is a relationship between the cultural factor and the consumption of vegetarian food in Muang District, Trang Province at the 0.05 level of significance.
Furthermore, the result of relationship testing between the personal factor and the consumption behavior of vegetarian food show that religion did not relationship with vegetarian food consumption in Muang District, Trang Province at the 0.05 significance level.
