Abstract:
This paper aimed to analyzed distribution capabilities, problem of distribution and suggest the ways to adjust distribution processes of Thai Beverage Logistics Company Limited, Suratthani Province.
From overview data collected found that the company had loss their profit by 0.6%, which made the company's revenue below the target by 3.2%. The company aware that improving distribution performance would reduce operation cost and drive more profit to the company.
The analyzed of distribution problems show the current company operation cased direct cost by more than 50% of transportation costs and delayed. The researcher bring up Value Stream Analysis to assessment distribution value to improve performance from the beginning of distribution process to province warehouse (Leg B). The Researcher collect primary data from both interview and observation of all relevant operation functions. By using swimlane diagram of the company, and also manage vehicles suitable for transporting goods. Make the company can reduce costs up to 182,331 baht or 6.70% of total expenditure on fuel costs per month. The number of rounds can reduce costs up to 164 rounds or 21.5% of rounds to transport goods per month. The researcher suggest the way to improve performance and cost reduction of the company's distribution.
