Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the promotion of self-directed learning of students in Khiao Nam School under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 2. The population comprised 127 grade 6 students in Khiao Nam School under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 2. Questionnaire was used as a research tool which had a reliability of .75. Statistics used for data analysis comprised percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
Findings revealed that;
Overall the promotion of self-directed learning of students in Khiao Nam School under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 2 was at a moderate level . Considering on each aspect, it was found that all 3 aspects had moderate level of opinion, ranging from high average to low average: learning operation and formative evaluation, process of self-directed learning, and learning evaluation, respectively.
