Abstract:
This thesis is concerned with the investigation of energy use in a beverages factory with an objective of finding possible energy saving. It displays information of before and after energy usage reduction and result of energy saving. Kind of energy usage in factory is electrical energy and thermal energy. The proportion, by energy value of electricity and fuel oil uses are 19 and 81 respectively and are about 39 and 61 by cost respectively. The total energy usage index in the factory is 1,900 MJ per ton of products. Electrical energy saving can be achieved by the reduction of chiller using in night time and closure of chiller for air conditioning during holiday. These policy reduce energy usage index from 382.16 to 359.17 MJ per ton of products. Thermal energy can be achieved by installing the automatic combustion control. This policy reduces energy usage index from 1,579.99 to 1,312.03 MJ per ton of products. The principle of energy reduction is reduce the usage of energy per product by reduce to use unnecessary or over require energy. These policy can reduce total energy usage per product from 1,840 to 1,708 MJ per ton of products.
