Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to analyze the potentials of sustainable ecotourism in community participation and development strategy. Educated Population is mainly the community leaders, entrepreneurs, and residents. 50 samples of cases were drawn from SWOT analysis, using data from percentage and analytical skill.
The result of sustainable tourism development shows that people are still lacking the knowledge of managing inadequate public relations and income distribution. Particularly, there should be participation by the community members to determine the activity related to convenience, safety and adequate accommodation for the tourist. The past indicates that the government does not pay much attention to this matter. There are many important natural resource areas which are related to convenience and safety for travelling. The major agricultural product is rubber production. A large population of the community participates in this production, but they still need to be recognized as a person, who is in need of support of composition from government.
The strategy of sustainable development is necessary to create a strong organizational culture, supporting tourism activity to benefit the community. A planning should have been granted for the cooperation and income distribution to expand scope of community; emphasized on dominant community products. For instance, providing one top tourist service center, for improving the standard of transportation network and infrastructure, by easy and accessible building for reducing forest intrusion, includes a sense of common purpose within the community and preserve natural resources for long term sustainability.
