Abstract:
This research aimed to investigate Host information, particulate matter exposure and Environmental information and lung function among workers in the service cooperative of teak wood Wangwon Village, Sungmen district, Phrae Province. The instrument was questionnaire divided into three sections: Host information, Agent information and Environmental information data. The 31 samples were collected data, and lung function test with Spirometry. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.
The results showed that over a half of them was female (54.84%) (average age was 45.84 years old), 67.74% for non-smoking, 70.97 % for member in their family who non-smoking, 100.00% for particulate matter exposure in workplace 8.55 hours/day for work hour (average time of work = 10.84 years). The lung function was tested with spirometer based on FVC, FEV1, and ratio of FEV1/FVC. The illustration showed that the normal of lung function test were 22 (70.97%), 19 (61.69%) and 31 (100.00%) respectively. and normal of lung function test were 9 (29.04%), 12 (38.71%) and 0 (0.00%) respectively. The severe respiratory disorders in terms of obstructive abnormality (OA) and restrictive abnormality (RA), the normal of obstructive abnormality (OA) was 31 (100.00%) and normal mind moderate of restrictive abnormality (RA) was 22 (70.97%) 8 (25.81%) and 1 (3.23%) respectively. Thus, time of work more than 11 years was the factors of particulate matter exposure to impaired lung function in restrictive abnormality
