Abstract:
The objectives of this study is to examine the factors affecting of casual teachers morale for working in Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, and to seek for the factors as personal factor, hygiene factor, motivating factor and morale factor affecting to casual teachers working. The collecting data comprised of 60 casual teachers in Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The analysis using statistical method was the descriptive statistics consisting of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation (S.D). The correlation hypothesis test used One-way Anova.
The personal factor study found that 65.00% of the samples were women, 50.00% were between the age of 21-30, 98.33% were graduated with bachelors degree, 41.66% were working life as 3-6 years. 35.00% taught in primary level 1-3, 51.66% were the schools situated in Mae Suai District, 53.33% were kindergarten and primary classes, and 43.33% were medium sized schools. The hygiene factor showed the highest level of working morale and the motivating factor and morale were high levels.
Correlation test between personal factors and factors affecting morale showed that in content of sex; male had work success in keeping with school director expect more than female.
In content of aged; casual teacher were 20 - 30 years old teaching according with themselves educational graduation had morale more than casual teacher were 30 -40 years old. In content of highest educational graduation of casual teacher; masters degree graduate had work success in keeping with oneself expect more than bachelors degree graduate. in content of had been working in casual teacher belong to office of the basic education commission (OBEC) 7 -9 years old work success in keeping with school director expect was still utmost. In content of teaching implement of casual teacher; in hygiene factors: school policy topic. Teaching in grade
1-3 has good morale than teaching in grade 7-9. and in hygiene factors: school directors command topic: school director used properly command subtopic casual teacher teaching in kindergarten had good morale than teaching in grade 1 3. In content of school bestead of casual teacher teaching showed school has properly environment for teaching affect was still very good morale and school has completely public utility system (electric, water and communication) affect was still good morale. So as to in content of school bestead affect personal factor morale topic; everyday casual teacher be enthusiastic subtopic was still very good and casual teacher has good physical health and good mental health was still very good in suggestion casual teacher requirement put in position as teacher official and make better welfare to properly cost of living in this present, long-term contract, special money for dangerous and backcountry area. And government should be properly public utility system for education environment
