Abstract:
This study aimed to investigate : (1) a level of competency of supervisors of Safety Insurance Public Company Limited, (2) a level of perception factor in organizational climate, (3) a comparison of opinions on the competency of being supervisors, and (4) a relationship between the perceived organizational climate and the competency of supervisors of Safety Insurance Public Company Limited. The research samples were 130 supervisors. The data were statistically analyzed in terms of percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearsons Correlation.
The results revealed as follows :
1. The overall competency of supervisors in the aspects of result- based management, administration knowledge, innovation skill, human resources management skill, and professional administration was at a high level.
2. The overall perception in organizational climate in the cases of teams intention and relationship, clearness of goal and policy, work responsibility, flexibility, standard of working, learning support, expressing appreciation, and giving awards was at a high level respectively.
3. The respondents as classified by gender, age, marital status, education level, working experience, and position level gave high level importance to the competency of supervisors.
4. The relationship between the perceived organizational climate and the competency of supervisors of Safety Insurance Public Company Limited in the aspect of administration knowledge was at a high level positive. On the other hand, the relationship between the perceived organizational climate and the competency of

supervisors in terms of human resources management skill, result - based management, professional administration, and innovation skill was at a moderate level of positive.
