Abstract:
Purposes: The purposes of this research were as following : 1. To study the understanding and opinions of administrators and instructors in teachers colleges concerning The Inservice Education Program. 2. To compare the understanding and opinions of administrators and instructors in teachers colleges concerning The Inservice Education Program. Procedures: Sample of this study comprised of 224 administrators and 240 instructors in teachers colleges which were selected by using all of the presidents, the vice-presidents, the heads of faculty, the heads of the president office, twenty percent of the heads of department, and ten percent of instructors totaling 464 in numbers were randomly selected from 16 teachers colleges. The questionnaire method employed for gathering data for this study. Of the total 464 questionnaires sent out, 367 or 79.09 percent were completed and returned. The data were analyzed by using percent, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and Z-test. Findings : The findings of this study were as follows : The majority of administrators and instructors in teachers colleges understood the concept of the Inservice Education Program in the study. However, the percentage of the administrators who understood the Inservice Education Program was higher than those of instructors. The majority of the administrators and instructors agreed with the Inservice Education Program. There is no significant difference between the opinions of the administrators and the instructors concerning the Inservice Education Program.
