Abstract:
This research aimed to study problem on an academic administration of Nong-chumsengwittaya school, Tayang district, Phetchaburi province, in an academic year 2011, in 4 aspects: curriculum and usage, teaching and learning activities, internal supervision, and measurement and evaluation. The population for the study comprised 50 staff members of the Nongchumsengwittaya school, Tayang district, Phetchaburi province. The study instrument was a 5-rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing the data were percentage, mean, and Standard Deviation.
The research results were as follows:
1. Problems on the academic administration in overall, was at a high level. Considering each aspect found 2 aspects were at high level: the teaching and learning activities, and the internal supervision. The other 2 aspects were at a moderate level: measurement and evaluation, and curriculum and usage, respectively.
2. Problems on the academic administration classified by their gender found that males had their opinion at a high level, but female had their opinion at a moderate level; classified by their working experience found that the persons who had less than 8 years of working experience had their opinions on the problems at a moderate level, but 8-15 years and more than 15 years of working experience had their opinions on the problems at high level.
