Abstract:
This research aimed to study and compare the satisfaction of service participants with the Bangkok Metropolis New Dimension Youth Centers. An accidental sampling was adopted to sample 400 participants who used the service at these youth centers. To collect the data, the researcher used a questionnaire with a content validity index of 0.95 and an alpha coefficient of 0.91. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. According to Scheffes multiple comparison method, there was a significance level of .05. The results were as follows: 1. Most of the respondents were female, aged 20-39, with a bachelor degree. Most of them were students/university students with an average monthly income of less than 10,000 baht. They used the service on Monday to Friday from 5.01 p.m. onwards, 3-5 days per week and 1-2 hours each time. Most of them went to the centers to use the service with their friends. The main objective of their visit was to exercise and play sports. In addition, the service that was most frequently used was sports activities. 2. The respondents satisfaction with the service at the Bangkok Metropolis New Dimension Youth Centers was found at the highest level in 2 areas, including recreation activities and management, and at the high level in 4 areas, including locations and facilities, tools and equipment, staff and public relations. 3. The respondents of different genders shared the same level of overall satisfaction with the service at the Bangkok Metropolis New Dimension Youth Centers. In terms of the satisfaction with the staff, there was a significant statistical difference at .05. Furthermore, the respondents of different age groups had different levels of satisfaction with the locations and facilities, tools and equipment, and public relations with a significant statistical difference at .05.
