Using cartoon multimedia to develop english reading comprehension skilk of grade 4 students at Mathayomwatmaikrongtong school under Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhon's Patronage, Prachinburi Province
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to use cartoon multimedia to develop English reading comprehension skills of Grade 4 students of Mathayomwatmaikrongtong School, Prachinburi province, The study samples were the 354 grade 4 students who were assigned to be the experimental group and the control group, with 50 students in each, selected by multi - stage sampling. The instruments were two models of cartoon multimedia teaching the word meaning through images and through words, pre-test and post test. Data analysis methods used were percentage, arithmetic mean, t-test and standard deviation. The results revealed that the score of the post-test in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group at p- value = .05
