Abstract:
This independent study has the purpose to study about the properties of Tablet PCs affecting the process of purchasing decisions of undergraduate students in Pathum Thani Province. Sample groups were 400 students in Pathum Thani Province, having experience of buying tablet PC. The tools for collecting data were questionnaires. The applied descriptive statistics included frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Statistics used in inferential test were Independent Sample t-test, for testing two sample groups, one way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA) used for testing sample groups which had more than two groups and Pearson Correlation Efficiency analysis to test relationship. were studying at Rajamangala University of Technology, Year 3. They had revenue per month for less than or equal to 10,000 Baht. Most students focused on properties factors of Tablet PC in the highest level in four aspects.
From hypothesis test, it was found that demographic information, except gender, had different decision process to buy a Tablet PC. When relationship was analyzed, it was found that age, education institutions, study year level and received income per month had relationship with purchase decision process, in the purchasing behavior (brands of purchased products and purchase places). Properties of tablet PC had relationship with consumers purchase decision process.
