Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study the transformational leadership of school administrator for the basic education level under the Secondary Education Service Area office 15 in Mai Kaen district, Sai Buri district, Kapho district, and Thung Yang Daeng district in an academic year 2010.The population included 79 teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 15 in Mai Kaen district, Sai Buri district, Kapho district and Thung Yang Daeng district. The developed instrument has a reliability of 0.9714.The data were analyzed by computer program to find out the percentage, mean and standard deviation.
The results showed that effects of the transformational leadership of school administrator for the basic educational level under the Secondary Education Service Area office 15 in Mai Kaen district, Sai Buri district, Kapho district, and Thung Yang Daeng district. The administrator actions through behavioral component consisted of only 4Is reasons an idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration. The study reviewed the teachers in an overall and each aspect of transformational leadership of the school administrator was in high level. The transformational leadership performed more often than others was in the idealized influence, whereas the intellectual stimulation was perform less than others.
Comparison of changes in leadership at the school administrators, the opinions of teachers classified by gender, the years of work, and education, in an overall had no significant difference, which was at a high level. Comparing of each aspect, it was found that the high level as well.
