The Relationship between the Core Competency of School Administrators and Being Learning Organization of Schools in Mattayomsuksa School Group Pong District Phayao
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to 1) study the level of the core competency of school administrators and being learning organization in Mattayomsuksa School Group Pong District Phayao 2) to analyze the relationship between the core competency of school administrators and being learning organization of schools in Mattayomsuksa School Group Pong District Phayao. The populations used in this study were 118 teachers. The instruments for collecting data was a questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by means of frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearsons Product Moment, and the construction of multiple regression equation for prediction. The findings of the research were as follow: 1) The main competences of school administrators, as a whole as well as by individual item of competence, were at the highest level of practice and which can be put in order from high to low as team working, good service, achievement orientation, and self-development, respectively. 2) The condition of being learning organization of schools in Mattayomsuksa School Group Pong District Phayao is at high level. When considering each aspect, it shows that all of these aspects are at high level, also. The vision creation and sharing is at the highest level, followed by systematic thinking and understanding and open method of thinking is at lowest level. 3) The core competency of school administrators and being learning organization of school in Mattayomsuksa School Group Pong District Phayao has positive relationship with high significance at 0.01. When considering each aspect, The teamwork is at the highest level, followed by the self development and the achievement motivation is at lowest level.
