Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to investigate and to compare the transformational leadership of school administrators in Wangyangpattana network under Nakhon Phanom Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 classified by school - size and work experience. The samples consisted of 93 personnel worked in school of Wangyangpattana network in academic year 2013 following Krecjie and Morgans table in the sample - size specification; and they were selected by Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument used in data collection was a five - rating scale questionnaire with the discrimination power between .25 and .94 and the reliability value of .97. The statistics employed in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t - test (Independent Samples) and F - test (Scheffe' Method). The result was found that overall transformational leadership of school administrators in Wangyangpattana network was at the high level. Considering in an individual aspect, three aspects were at the high level namely Inspiration, Intellectual Stimulation and Individual Awareness; and one aspect was at the moderate level namely Influential Ideology. The comparison of transformational leadership of school administrators classified by school - size was statistically significant different at the .01 level in overall and individual aspects. Considering in an individual aspect, all aspects were statistically significant different except the aspect of Influential Ideology. Classifying by work experience, overall aspect was statistically significant different at the .01 level. Considering in an individual aspect, it was found that the aspect of Influential Ideology was statistically significant different at the .01 level, whereas the aspects of Inspiration, Intellectual Stimulation and Individual Awareness were not different.
