Abstract:
This independent study aimed to classify the groups of the delinquent customers of housing loan, and analyze the major factors for each group. The study was experimental research using 744 data from delinquent customers of housing loan.
The statistical software was used to analyze data by cluster analysis with K-means method.
The results found that the delinquent customers of housing loan could be classified into 3 groups with the following major factors: 1) private business owner which was the smallest number of the delinquent customers of housing loan and the major factors were income, principle amount, and limit amount, 2) private business owner and employee which the major factors were age, month on book, and income, 3) employee which the largest number of the customer delinquent housing loan and the major factors were principle amount, limit amount, and approved amount. The major factors for each group could be used in varieties such as supporting information for guideline and policies to manage delinquent customers of housing loan, approval housing loan, and decrease bad debt.
