Abstract:
This research is a comparison for construction management. The original used bar
chart compared with the critical path with CPM by Microsoft Project 2007. The study
found, how to work with the bar chart, a project management approach that is easy to
understand for the overall plan or overview of the project. But the process is complex
together, for operational plan was found lack of decision points or which work flexible
management. For the management method by CPM has entered into program, when we
come to view Gantt Chart to determine the critical line, will see clearly and found main
activity of project. If the delay project, Project manager have to improve construction
management, such as adding additional employees at work or may increase machine.
That is depended on the circumstances and needs of each project.
The research found, construction management must be both ways, Bar Chart and
CPM Method. Used simultaneously in project management, by the critical path in the main
control program. For determine the operating flexible and inflexible, will allow the program
is strictly prohibited, a professional, and a system of decision making. The Bar Chart
method for communication with other, control work plan and adjust the project plan often.
The sub-activities each week to adjust the plan to keep the core of the project plan.
