Abstract:
This research is experimental research. The objectives of this research are to 1) compare the burnout at work of employees before and after listening pop music, 2) compare the burnout at work of employees before and after listening classical music, and 3) compare the burnout at work of employees listening to music between pop music and classical music. The instruments for gathering data were questionnaires. The sample group was 68 employees in 2 Public universities : 40 employees of Suan Dusit Rajabhat University and 28 employees of Suan Sunadha Rajabhat University. The statistics employed for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Compare mean dependent Samples and Compare mean Independent Samples. The results were concluded that
1. After the employees had listened pop music, the level of burnout at work decreased at statistical significance level of .05.
2. After the employees had listened classical music, the level of burnout at work decreased at statistical significance level of .05.
3. The level of burnout at work of employees who had listened pop music was not different level of burnout at work of employees who has listened classical music.
