Relationships between the existing and desirable morality and the ethics and employeesjob performance a case study of the employees of Wattanaprisan Engineering Company Limited
Abstract:
The objectives of this research are 1) to study the level of the opinions of employees
concerning the existing and desirable morality and ethics, 2) to compare the levels of the
opinions of employees concerning the existing and desirable morality and ethics, 3) to study the
relationship between existing and desirable of morality and ethics and performance of the
employees, 4) to make a predicting equation of performance of the employees and the existing
and desirable of morality and ethics. This research was carried out with 93 employees at
Wattanaprisan Engineering, Co., Ltd. The data were collected from questionnaires. Statistical
devices used for data analysis were means, standard deviation, t test, One - way ANOVA,
Pearson's Product Moment Correlation, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis.
The results of the study were as follows : 1) The employees had a high level existing and
desirable morality and ethics. 2) The employees with different personal factors had no different
existing and desirable morality and ethics at the significant level of .05 for all aspects. 3) The
existing and desirable morality and ethics had positive relationship with the employees
performance at the significant level of .05. 4) There were three predictors of the existing
morality and ethics for employees performance. These were honesty, consciousness and
discipline. The regression equation of raw scores was :
Performance = -33.640 + 1.637(honesty of the existing morality and ethics)
+ 1.651(consciousness of the existing morality and ethics)
+ 1.186 (discipline of the existing morality and ethics)
