The Opinions of Non-Formal Education Students in theSecondary Education Level towards the Learning Management in Nornsa-ngaDistrict Community Learning Centers, Chaiyaphum Province.
Abstract:
This research aimed to investigate: 1) the opinion levels s of Non-Formal Education students in the secondary education level towards the learning management in Nornsa-nga District Community Learning Centers, Chaiyaphum Province, and 2) the guidelines in the learning management in Nornsa-nga District Community Learning Centers, Chaiyaphum Province. The samples included 117 Non-Formal Education students in the secondary education level, fixed by Krejcie and Morgans package table using the simple random sampling of the lottery technique. The instrument for collecting the data was the created five rating-scaled questionnaires with the .944 reliability value. The statistics for the data analysis were the percentage, mean and standard deviation.
The research findings revealed that:
1. The opinion levels s of Non-Formal Education students in the secondary education level towards the learning management in Nornsa-nga District Community Learning Centers, Chaiyaphum Province in overall 5 aspects, as a whole in the much level. When looking into each aspect, it found that the aspect with the highest mean scores was continual learning management; the latter included the aspects of remedial teaching and activity management for life quality development respectively.
2. The guidelines in the learning management in Nornsa-nga District Community Learning Centers, Chaiyaphum Province were concluded in each aspect as follows:
2.1 The aspect of continual learning management included that: 1) the students could understand the procedures in learning management continually; 2) continual learning management seemed useful for self-learning; and 3) learning from medias and learning sources in terms of easy topics.
2.2 The aspect of remedial teaching included that: 1) after teaching remedial teaching, the students understood enabling to answer questions and did the tests as the teachers assigned; 2) the teachers assigned the tasks for the students to further study after each remedial teaching; and 3) in remedial teaching, there were qualified teachers with knowledge and ability in educating the students.
2.3 The aspect of activity management for life quality development included that: 1) the time duration in operating the management of activities for life quality development; 2) the teachers explained for the students to understand in the process of activity management for life quality development; and 3) having counseling teachers for giving advices and cooperated to solve the learners problems during managing the activities for life quality development.
2.4 The aspect with group meeting included that: 1) the teachers spent the time in weekly group meeting not less than three hours; 2) managing the lesson plans of learning activities by meeting the groups in the time fixed; and 3) managing the lesson plans of learning activities by meeting the groups on the time limit.
2.5 The aspect of doing project work included that: 1) the students felt free in thinking to begin the project work due to self-interests and aptitudes; 2) the students obtained knowledge, understanding, meaning and procedures in doing the project work; and 3) the result conclusion of doing the project work contained the booklet documents or exhibitions for distributing of the students works.
