Abstract:
This study was an experimental research. The purposes of this study were to develop Web-Based Instruction (WBI) on the Microsoft Publisher application using Davies' instruction model for psychomotor domain, to compare the students effectiveness before and after using the developed WBI, to compare learning achievements of learners before and after receiving the instruction, and 4) to develop practical skill of student. Davies instruction model using in this research had 5 steps: first step, demonstrate entire activity process, second step, demonstrate each sub-skill slowly and let the students practice, third step, the students practise the sub-skill with teachers guidance but not demonstration, forth step, the offered further techniques to make things easier, faster or more beautiful, and fifth step, the students integrate all sub-skills in order to complete the entire process effectively. This WBI consisted of sound and interactive practices. The research sample, selected by purposive sampling, consisted of Prathomsueksa 6 students, Banbandchadoo school in the first semester of the academic year 2012. The research instruments consisted of three units of WBI, the efficiency evaluation form for the experts; and a learning achievement test administered before and after the learning. The statistical tests employed to verify the WBI were the E1/E2 efficiency index, mean, SD, and t-test dependent.
Research results showed that 1) the efficiency of the developed WBI was 33/82.58, higher than 80/80 as in the hypothesis, 2) the students effectiveness after using the WBI was significantly higher than before using it at , and 3) practical skills of the students were at good level. In conclusion, we can used this WBI to help teacher to solve the problems that mentioned above as well.
