Abstract:
The objectives of this research were (1) to study the level of working stress of personnel in the subdistrict administrative organizations of Prachin Buri Province, (2) to study factors influencing working stress of personnel in the subdistrict administrative organizations of Prachin Buri Province and (3) to recommend management guidelines for improving operations and decreasing the levels of stress. The research used the mixed method with quantitative and qualitative research, and 220 respondents were used as samples. The tools used were questionnaires and interviews. Statistics used for analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation and F-test (One-way ANOVA). The findings of this research were as follows: 1) The majority of samples were female. aged 30-40 years, married, without children, holding bachelor degrees, serving in operating positions, with 15 years of working experience, and with monthly incomes of 10,000-15,000 baht. 2) The working stress level of personnel as a whole was at a low level, with a mean of 2.37. 3) The study of factors influencing the working stress of personnel found that operating factors and environmental factors had a significant difference at a level of 0.05. 4) Recommended guidelines for improving the work and managing the stress include organizing activities for relaxation such as sports, seminars, site visits and meditation practices, as well as offering assistance to subordinate staff with problems.
