Abstract: To short list potential candidates in the recruitment process is a significant task for success in any organization. Timely, effective and efficient short listing will provide an organization the opportunity to not only remain competitive but also to considerably save time and streamline short listing procedures. A Decision Support System (DSS) for short listing potential candidates in the recruitment process has been developed. It aims to help recruitment personnel, who are target users, to accomplish successful and transparent short listing. Through an available decision support system, recruitment personnel will no longer spend lengthy time searching for details of qualified candidates in a manual filling system, at the same time they will now receive valuable recommendation from the system as well. Concept of Relational Database Design was applied to database construction while Microsoft Access 97 was designated for the database management system. Meanwhile, Elimination by Aspects, and Rate and Weight were the two approaches implemented for the Decision Support System. Microsoft Visual Basic v.6 was used op the system that is activated on Windows 95 or higher operating. The system evaluation revealed that this Decision Support System for short listing potential candidates in the recruitment process could provide both justifiable information and useful outcomes that meet user needs. Similarly, it can be great benefit to the development of human resources recruitment in other procedures as a model.

Abstract: การคัดเลือกผู้สมัครงานให้เหลือน้อยรายในกระบวนการสรรหาบุคลากรจัดได้ว่าเป็นกระบวนการที่มีความสำคัญต่อความสำเร็จขององค์การ โดยการคัดเลือกผู้สมัครงานให้เหลือน้อยรายที่ดำเนินไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ประสิทธิผล รวดเร็วทันเวลา จะสามารถทำให้องค์การ ได้เปรียบทางการแข่งขันและประหยัดเวลา ตลอดจนลดขั้นตอนในการสรรหาบุคลากรได้เป็นอย่างยิ่ง ดังนั้น ผู้วิจัยจึงได้พัฒนาระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจเพื่อการคัดเลือกผู้สมัครงานให้เหลือน้อยรายในกระบวนการสรรหาบุคลากร โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อช่วยให้เจ้าหน้าที่สรรหาซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มผู้ใช้ระบบเป้าหมายได้ดำเนิการคัดเลือกอย่างสัมฤทธิ์ผลและเป็นไปด้วยความโปร่งใส จากการพัฒนาระบบดังกล่าว เจ้าหน้าที่สรรหามิต้องใช้เวลาอันเนิ่นนานเพื่อที่จะคัดเลือกรายละเอียดของผู้สมัครงานที่คุณสมบัติตรงตามความต้องการที่ถูกเก็บไว้ในแฟ้มเอกสารมากมาย นอกจากนี้ เจ้าหน้าที่ยังได้รับคำแนะนำอันทรงค่าจากระบบ หลักการออกแบบฐานข้อมูลชิงสัมพันธ์ได้ถูกนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ โดยมี Microsoft Access 97 เป็นระบบการจัดการฐานข้อมูล ในขณะที่หลักการตัดสินใจปัญหาที่มีหลายวัตถุประสงค์แบบตัดออกและแบบอันดับและน้ำหนักได้ถูกมาใช้ในระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจ Microsoft Visual Basic รุ่น 6 เป็นโปรแกรมประยุกต์ที่เป็นเครื่องมือในการพัฒนาระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจ ผลจากการประเมินระบบวิจัยดังกล่าว พบว่าระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจเพื่อการคัดเลือกผู้สมัครงานให้เหลือน้อยรายในกระบวนการสรรหาให้สารสนเทศและผลลัพธ์อันตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ใช้ อันจะเกิดประโยชน์ในการพัฒนาการสรรหาบุคลากรในกระบวนการอื่นๆ ได้เป็นอย่างดีด้วย
