Abstract:
The objectives of this independent study were to study the satisfaction of the personnel toward the human resource management, to study the motivational factors and the hygiene factors for the human resource management, to compare between the personal factors and the satisfaction to the human resource management, and to study the relationship of both factors, motivational factors and hygiene factors, with the satisfaction to the human resource management of the personnel in Southern Rajabhat Universities. By using the questionaires, the data was collected from Southern Rajabhat Universitiess staffs, both in the academic field and in the support field. There were 352 persons from Rajabhat Yala University, Rajabhat Songkha University, Rajabhat Nakornsrithammarat University, Rajabhat Phuket University, and Rajabhat Suratthani University participated in the study.
It was found that the samples opinions about the motivational factors in career, which were the type of work, the achievement, the recognition, and the advancement, were generally in the significant level. The samples opinions about the hygiene factors, which were the interpersonal relation with the others, the working conditions, the salary and fringe benefit, the job security, and the personal life, were generally in the significant level. The samples satisfaction about the human resource management of Southern Rajabhat Universities, which were the manpower planning, the recruitment, the selection, the placement, the encouragement, and the training and development, was generally in the significant level.
From the comparision of the personal factors with the satisfaction to the human resource mangement, it was found that the difference in gender, age, educational level, monthly income, department in which the samples worked for, position, and working experience had no difference in the satisfaction level for the human resource management. From studying the relationship between the satisfaction level to the human resource management and the opinion level to the motivational factors, it was found that there was high correlation between them. When considering each item, it was found that the satisfaction level to the human resource management about the encouragement, the training and development, and the placement had high correlation in the same direction with the opinion level to the motivational factors.
From studying the relationship between the satisfaction level of the samples and the opinion level to the hygiene factors, it was found that there was high correlation between them. When considering each item, it was found that the satisfaction level to the human resource management about the recruitment had high correlation in the same direction with the opinion level to the hygiene factors, with the statistical significant level at 0.05.
