Abstract:
A study of the project of evaluation strengthening the new entrepreneurs : a case study: the project of evaluation strengthening the new entrepreneurs of Technology and Industrial Management Faculty, King Mongkut's Diversity Technology North Bangkok is to evaluate the operation results of six-month training project for the new entrepreneurs and to estimate the achievement of the new entrepreneurs. The sampling group was the two-group questionnaires and mailing for sending and collecting questionnaires. The statistics used were frequency and percentage.
It was found that most respondents were male, aged 3 I -40, and high school educated for 72%, 42%, and 42%, respectively were as the pre status of training
attendance were no experience of handling their own business and not being business heir/heiress for 70% and the objective of joining the program was to establish their first business for 72%.
According to the analysis of data of advancement for new business establishment, it was found that most were in the process of preparation. the type of business was production, the reason why they were interested in this business because they believe it was in booming period and they were in the process of finding the right location, and the investment were from their private capital. Most respondents rated the critical factors for business initiation success were business plan, determination of the entrepreneur. and work experience whereas the delaying factors were finding the right market and customers and acquiring money and co-entrepreneurs. Based on data collection. most business plans were used as framework for establishing and administering business.
According to the business advancement analysis, it was found that most type of business were retailing, using the business plan as framework for establishing and administering business. The improvement after attending the NEC project were better
capital management and increase of customer base/customer quantity. The further assistance needed for surviving and achieving business were marketing, management of capital and technology
