Abstract:
The purposes of this research were : (1) to study the job motivation of employees
at the Sales and Customer Service Center, 3.1 Metropolitan Area, the TOT Public Company
Limited, Bangkok and (2) to compare motivation factors and demographic factors.
The sample of this study comprised 230 employees who worked at the Sales and
Customer Service Center, 3.1 Metropolitan Area, the TOT Public Company Limited,
Bangkok. These employees were selected by the ratio random sampling technique.
Questionnaires were used as research tools and comprised 2 sections: demographic factors
and job motivation factors. The questionnaires were tested for validity and reliability. The
Chronbach Alpha reliability coefficient of the second section was .96. Data were analyzed
by descriptive statistics (frequency, means, and standard deviation), Independent Sample ttest,
and F-test (One-Way ANOVA)
The research results of this study were as follows. (1) Employees of the Sales
and Customer Service Center, 3.1 Metropolitan Area, the TOT Public Company Limited,
Bangkok rated their job motivation at the high level. (2) There was a significant difference
in their job motivation and their demographic factors in terms of age and incomes (p < .05).
