Abstract:
Empowerment in Instructor of Nurse Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Chang Wat Nonthaburi
ABSTRACT
The main purposes of this descriptive research were to investigate level of perceived sense of power, investigate the relationship between factors which related to self empowerment processes and self empowerment activities whether perceived sense of powwe in nures instructors Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Chang Wat Nonthaburi. The conceptual framework for this study bascd on Health C. Gibson's conccpt of empowerment. The study population was 50 nurse instructors at Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Chang Wat Nonthaburi. The research instruments used in this study were questionaires developed by the research which consisted of four parts : 1) the personal data 2) the factors related to self empowerment process 3) the self empowerment activities and 4) the perceived sense of power anong nurse instructors. Data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation and cordlate by Multiple Regression.
The results of study revealed that :
1) The mean score of perceived sense of power among nurse instructors was 2.4 (SD = .384), sixty two percent of population had the score of perceived sense of power more than mean score
2) The belief was the most factor that effected to self-empowerment activities. The personal experience, belief and goals of life factors had not statistically significant positive correlation with self-empowerment activities................, but the values and social support had statistically significant positive correlation with self-empowwement activities at.01,.05 level
3) Self-empowerment activities had statistically significant positive correlation with perceived sense of power.................
Implication of the results of this study was make the package of self-empowerment activities for instructor of nurse at Boromarajonani College of nursing, Chang Wat Nonthaburi inorder to developed the organizing and, will be had experimental study or qualith research in the future.
