Abstract: The objective of this research was to analyze, design and develop a web portal for reserving banquets and conference rooms which can enable hotel customers to make reservations. Moreover, the web portal also estimated the cost of prereservation and suggested alternative choices of hotels and rooms in case where the first choice is not available. One hundred hotels in Bangkok of various types were selected as a case study. The user interfaces were developed by Microsoft Web Developer, Microsoft Visual Studio.NET, and used ASP.NET; C#.NET as script language. It also used Microsoft SQL Server as database server for hotel staff to manipulate and update information. The questionnaire was a tool to evaluate the web portal by examining users’ satisfaction scores. The result of the evaluation was good in overall about ease to use, ease to navigation, overall content, overall look, validation, performance, and advantages.

Abstract: งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ ออกแบบ และพัฒนาเว็บท่าสำหรับการจองห้อง จัดเลี้ยงและห้องประชุม โดยลูกค้าของโรงแรมสามารถทำการจองผ่านเว็บท่า ซึ่งสามารถคำนวณ ราคาเบื้องต้นของการจอง และแนะนำโรงแรมและห้องใหม่เพื่อเป็นทางเลือกให้กับลูกค้า ในกรณีที่ โรงแรมและห้องที่ลูกค้าต้องการเป็นอันดับแรกไม่ว่าง ในการวิจัยนี้ ใช้โรงแรม 100 โรงแรมในระดับการให้บริการที่ต่างกันเป็นกรณีศึกษา โดยการออกแบบพัฒนาส่วนที่ติดต่อกับผู้ใช้ด้วย Microsoft Web Developer, Microsoft Visual Studio.Net และใช้ ภาษา C# โดยที่ Microsoft SQL Server เป็นฐานข้อมูลเพื่อให้พนักงานโรงแรม สามารถจัดการปรับปรุงข้อมูล ทั้งนี้ การประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้ ผ่านทางแบบสอบถามพบว่า การง่ายต่อการ ใช้งาน, การง่าต่อการเข้าถึง, เนื้อหาโดยรวม, ความสวยงาม, ความถูกต้อง
